Dr. Saqib Minhas has been practicing dentistry since 2009, after completing his BDS from Liaquat College of Medicine and Dentistry (LCMD), University of Karachi.

His professional career began with his house job in June 2009. By September of that year, he had started working in private dental clinics under the observation and mentorship of experienced practitioners. During the early years of his career, he deliberately worked across multiple dental practices to broaden his clinical exposure and develop experience in different treatment approaches and patient populations.

Between 2009 and 2013, he worked at numerous dental clinics while continuing to build his clinical skills. Alongside private practice, he remained involved with dental teaching institutions from 2010 to 2019, combining undergraduate teaching with clinical responsibilities and gaining nearly a decade of academic experience.

In June 2011, approximately two years after beginning his professional career, he established The Dental Clinic in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Karachi.

Over the years, the practice has developed into a multidisciplinary dental clinic providing general, restorative, cosmetic, orthodontic, surgical, endodontic, and implant dentistry.

Many patients have remained with the practice for years, with families returning across generations and referring relatives for increasingly complex treatment. This long-term continuity reflects a treatment philosophy centred on careful assessment, realistic recommendations, comprehensive treatment planning, and continuity of care.

Clinical Focus: Implantology & Restorative Dentistry

Dr. Saqib Minhas’s principal areas of clinical interest, experience, and continuing professional development are dental implantology and restorative dentistry.

While his postgraduate academic programme is in Community Dentistry, his clinical career has developed extensively around implant dentistry, restorative treatment, prosthetic rehabilitation, and comprehensive management of compromised dentitions.

He maintains a broad approach to clinical dentistry rather than treating implantology as an isolated surgical discipline. Successful implant rehabilitation requires an understanding of the remaining dentition, occlusion, periodontal health, available bone and soft tissue, aesthetics, prosthetic design, and the long-term function of the entire mouth.

This philosophy has led him to maintain experience across restorative, prosthetic, endodontic, cosmetic, surgical, and general dentistry while developing a particular clinical focus on implant-supported rehabilitation and complex restorative cases.
