Endodontic Therapy

Endodontics or root canal therapy, better known as RCT, is a specific sequence of dental therapy for the treatment of an infected tooth. The root canal therapy takes place by the removal of the infected pulp from the crown and the roots of the tooth.

The tooth once properly cleaned, will be filled with a tooth filling material, and restored aesthetically. In case of severely worn out or broken teeth, an artificial crown may be advised by the Dentist.

The Dental Clinic offers both, the traditional Manual Endodontic Therapy options along with the latest clinical trend of Rotary Endodontic Therapy.

The recognizable indications for RCT are as below:

  • Severe sensitivity to hot or cold stimulants
  • Excruciating pain upon biting or chewing food
  • Darkening of the tooth color
  • Long-term inflammation or dental infection leading to sudden painful swelling

Root Canal Therapy can be completed in 2 visits.
